Winnie the Pooh cake
Winnie the Pooh - Character cake:
Winnie the Pooh by a tree stumpThis Winnie the Pooh birthday cake was a real show-stopper and we have had many requests for this unique cake design since.
Winnie the Pooh cake Stats:
- The tree stump is made of our YUMMY chocolate fudge cake
- It is filled with butter icing and covered in rolled fondant
- The board on which Winnie the Pooh sits can be covered in the colour of your choice.
Winnie the Pooh is one of the most frequent requests we get for our unique style of cakes. Winnie the Pooh and friends, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Heffalump are available in a wide range of styles but most popular as a sugar-art figurine on top of a round, square or rectangle cake.
The Winnie the Pooh figurines can be kept for years. Remove Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and/or Heffalump carefully from the cake and keep in a dry place out of direct sunlight as this can cause the colours to fade.As you can see on the photo above we have made armies of Winnie the Pooh figurines for our Winnie the Pooh cupcakes and the figurines are also available to add to your party table or home made cake. Winnie the Pooh can sit, stand, lie on its back, cling to the side and Winnie the Pooh can even eat honey!

Winnie The Pooh Party

Winnie The Pooh Party
We’ve organised a few Winnie the Pooh parties. Here are some of our ideas:

Play the old-standard “Pin the tail on the donkey” with a large cutout of Eeyore, making the tails out of grey and pink ribbon.
In one of my favourite childhood books, The World of Pooh, A.A. Milne writes about a party Christopher Robin throws for his best friend, Winnie the Pooh. Christopher sets a long table and the friends all have a grand picnic in the sunshine, under a shady tree. Take this as inspiration and host your party outdoors, even on picnic rugs and serve finger food inspired by pooh - carrots, honey sandwiches, beestings, cupcakes and homemade lemonade.

Winnie the pooh and quotes

Winnie the pooh and quotes
Pooh is created by A.A Milne and named after a toy bear owned by his son, Christopher Robin Milne. Pooh's friends which include other popular characters such as Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga and Roo were also based on Christopher's stuffed animals.
Besides being a very lovable bear adored by children, Winnie the Pooh's clear-eyed wisdom also win the hearts of adults.
Even decades after his first appearance, the Pooh Bear continues to steal the hearts of young and old alike.
Enjoy these Winnie the Pooh quotes and be enthralled by the magic of the Pooh Bear!

Poem about Bear

Poem about Bear
And a big bear too,
I shouldn’t much care
If it froze or snew;
I shouldn’t much mind
If it snowed or friz —
I’d be all fur-lined
With a coat like his!
For I’d have fur boots and a brown fur wrap,
And brown fur knickers and a big fur cap.
I’d have a fur muffle-ruff to cover my jaws,
And brown fur mittens on my big brown paws.
With a big brown furry-down up to my head,
I’d sleep all the winter in a big fur bed.

A Map of Pooh Country
Winnie the Pooh was first conceived when a soldier, Harry Colebourn, adopted and brought a black bear cub to England from Winnipeg, Canada, after its mother had been killed by hunters He bought the bear from the hunter which killed its mother, and took it to London Zoo for a long loan. Christopher Robin favoured this bear and spent many an hour in the cage, playing with it. The bear was named Winnie, as a shortened version of the place whence he came. So, the bear became Christopher Robin's inspiration for calling his own teddy bear Winnie.

Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends
Chapter 2, 8, and 9 were adapted into animation with the Disney featurette Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day. Similarly, chapters 4 and 7 were adapted into Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too!, while chapter 6 was adapted in Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore. Chapter 8 was also partially adapted into an episode of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (entitled The Masked Offender). The final chapter was adapted as a closure to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, as well as in the direct-to-video movie Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin. However in the book, Christopher was going to boarding school and wouldn't be coming back but in the films he was just going to school and would come back at the end of the day.
